Senecca Allegany Casino Revives City
Senecca Allegany Casino will rise at the foot of the steep hill at the Southern Tier Expressway. The sixty four thousand five hundred square foot casino structure is projected to finish at the end of the year and it is expected that the gaming venue and the hotel will be the tallest building complex in Cattaraugus County.
Aside from the casino, there will be two hundred twenty hotel rooms and an entertainment center.
A 48,000 square foot temporary casino is temporarily housing the gaming activities that had already started two years ago. And with the gaming revenues, the casino has already helped the city out of decline.
According to the federal government income filings of September 2004 to 2005, the casino had generated one hundred forty million dollars in net revenue and thirty four million dollars in net income.
The net gambling revenue in the six months that ended on the 31st of March was more than sixty nine million dollars.
And Salamanca is now expecting the next installment of casino revenue to reach between four million to five million US dollars.
The Seneca Nation of Indian's first casino said that the Seneca Allegany Casino has spent more than fourteen million dollars with local traders and suppliers in its last fiscal year.
